Pearl Cove Aesthetics is committed to providing aesthetic services in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner consistent with applicable Georgia law, professional licensing standards, and client-centered care.

Certain aesthetic treatments offered at Pearl Cove Aesthetics are medical in nature. For this reason, clients may be required to complete a health history, consultation, consent process, and provider evaluation before treatment. This may include a telehealth evaluation by a qualified licensed healthcare provider when required.

Licensed Aesthetic Care

Services at Pearl Cove Aesthetics are provided by licensed healthcare personnel acting within their education, training, scope of practice, and applicable delegated authority.

Aesthetic treatments are not performed until the appropriate consultation, medical screening, consent, and treatment authorization process has been completed. Treatment recommendations are individualized and based on each client’s medical history, aesthetic goals, contraindications, and overall suitability for care.

Provider Evaluation and Good Faith Exam

Before receiving certain medical aesthetic services, clients may be required to complete a Good Faith Exam or provider evaluation with a qualified licensed healthcare provider. This process helps determine whether the requested treatment is appropriate and safe based on the client’s health history and treatment goals.

Pearl Cove Aesthetics may use a third-party telehealth provider platform to assist with required provider evaluations. Completion of a provider evaluation does not guarantee treatment. Final treatment decisions are based on clinical judgment, client safety, and applicable legal and professional requirements.

Medical Oversight and Delegation

Pearl Cove Aesthetics follows applicable Georgia requirements regarding medical oversight, provider evaluation, delegation, documentation, and treatment authorization for medical aesthetic services.

When required, services are performed pursuant to appropriate clinical protocols, provider authorization, or delegated authority from a licensed healthcare provider. Georgia law recognizes written nurse protocol agreements for certain delegated medical acts involving advanced practice registered nurses and physicians, including documentation and review requirements.

Informed Consent

All clients must review and sign appropriate consent forms before treatment. Consent forms are designed to explain the nature of the treatment, expected benefits, possible risks, contraindications, alternatives, aftercare instructions, and the possibility that results may vary.

Clients are encouraged to ask questions before treatment. Pearl Cove Aesthetics believes informed consent is an important part of safe, respectful, and transparent care.

Individual Results May Vary

Aesthetic outcomes vary from person to person. Results may depend on age, skin condition, anatomy, medical history, medications, lifestyle, treatment area, product response, device settings, and adherence to aftercare instructions.

Client Safety

Client safety is our priority. Pearl Cove Aesthetics reserves the right to decline, delay, or modify treatment when it is not clinically appropriate, when contraindications are present, when additional provider review is needed, or when treatment would not align with safe practice standards.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical history, including allergies, medications, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, medical conditions, prior procedures, and any history of adverse reactions.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Pearl Cove Aesthetics respects client privacy and handles personal and health-related information with care. Client information is used for scheduling, consultation, treatment planning, documentation, payment, follow-up care, and other appropriate business or healthcare operations.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Pearl Cove Aesthetics provides transparent pricing information for self-pay aesthetic services. Under the federal No Surprises Act, uninsured or self-pay individuals are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for scheduled healthcare items or services, and federal guidance explains that patients may access dispute resolution if billed charges are substantially above the estimate.
